The Kano State House of Assembly has concluded the screening of Murtala Sule Garo, who was nominated by Abba Kabir Yusuf for the position of Deputy Governor.
The screening exercise was conducted by an ad hoc committee chaired by the Deputy Speaker, Muhammad Bello Butu Butu.

The committee is expected to submit its report to the House on Monday, where lawmakers will deliberate and take a final decision on the confirmation of the nominee.
