Dr. Baffa Babba Dan’agundi, Director-General of the National Productivity Centre, has called on all members of the Kano State House of Assembly to support Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, irrespective of their political party affiliations, in his efforts to advance the development of Kano State.

Dan’agundi made the call while commending Governor Yusuf for constructing a new, modern and spacious complex for the Kano State House of Assembly, describing the project as a significant achievement that has enhanced the status and dignity of the legislature and its members.

He noted that the Assembly complex had not undergone such a major transformation since the administration of former Governor Abubakar Rimi, who originally constructed the building.

According to him, the new legislative complex represents a major improvement in the working environment of lawmakers and should be appreciated by all members of the Assembly, regardless of their political differences.

Dan’agundi recalled that during his time in the House of Assembly, lawmakers operated in cramped conditions, unlike the situation today, where members enjoy more comfortable working spaces and improved office facilities.

He explained that each lawmaker now has a personal office and a designated space to receive and attend to constituents, making it easier for them to carry out their legislative responsibilities effectively.

He therefore described Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s initiative as highly commendable, urging lawmakers to put aside party differences and rally behind the governor in the interest of Kano State’s continued development.
