From entrepreneurship to creative media

Aminu Baba is a creative media professional, entrepreneur, content creator and business skills educator with an interest in combining creativity, media and practical knowledge to create opportunities for individuals and businesses.

He had his primary and secondary education in Kano and also attended various Islamiyya and Qur’anic (Allo) schools.

His entrepreneurial journey began at a young age while he was still in secondary school, when he explored different trades and businesses, including car washing, carpentry, painting and other skilled work.

He later ventured into the sale of mobile phones and accessories, an experience that gave him early exposure to business, customer relations and entrepreneurship.

Driven by his growing interest in media and creativity, Baba pursued further education in Media Arts at the National Film Institute (NFI), Jos, where he developed skills and knowledge in filmmaking, media production and creative communication.

Baba is the Co-Founder of A Square Multimedia Ltd, a creative media company offering services including advertising, social media management, filmmaking and event coverage.

Through the company, he has continued to explore the connection between creativity, technology and business, helping individuals and organisations communicate their ideas and reach their target audiences through digital platforms.
