Kano Governor Visits Best Choice Specialist Hospital, Commends Staff

Kano State Governor, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has visited Best Choice Specialist Hospital in Kano to assess healthcare delivery and commend health workers for their commitment to saving lives.

The Governor made the visit on Friday night as part of his administration’s routine inspection of healthcare facilities, with particular attention to service delivery and patient care during night hours.

During the visit, Governor Yusuf inspected patients receiving treatment and toured various sections of the hospital alongside the doctor on duty and other members of staff.

He observed the activities of the health workers and assessed how patients were being attended to at the time of his visit.

The Governor commended the management and staff of Best Choice Specialist Hospital for their dedication to providing healthcare services to residents of Kano State.

He also acknowledged the important role of private healthcare providers in complementing government efforts to improve access to quality medical services, stressing the need for continued collaboration between the public and private sectors.

As a gesture of appreciation, Governor Yusuf presented a special award to the hospital staff in recognition of their dedication and commitment to saving lives.

The visit also highlighted the administration’s commitment to monitoring healthcare delivery across both public and private facilities in the state.

Best Choice Specialist Hospital, located at Tal’udu Junction, opposite Sheikh Al Rayyan School, Kano, operates round the clock and provides medical services through qualified doctors and other healthcare professionals.

The Governor’s inspection forms part of his administration’s broader efforts to strengthen healthcare delivery and ensure that residents receive appropriate medical attention across the 44 local government areas of Kano State.
