Murtala Sule Garo has expressed profound gratitude to Allah (SWT) and appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, following his nomination as Deputy Governor of Kano State, pending confirmation by the Kano State House of Assembly.
He also invoked peace and blessings upon the Nobel Prophet Muhammad (SAW), the Messenger of mercy and guidance.
In a statement issued shortly after his nomination, Garo extended his special appreciation to the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for the confidence he has shown in him by forwarding his name to the Kano State House of Assembly for screening and confirmation as the Deputy Governor of Kano State.
He said, ‘I give all praise and gratitude to Allah (SWT) for His mercy, guidance and blessings upon my life and political journey.

“I extend my special appreciation to His Excellency, the Executive Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, for finding me worth of this nomination and for the confidence he has reposed in me to serve as Deputy Governor of Kano State, subject to the confirmation of the Kano State House of Assembly.
He also extended his gratitude to party leaders, stakeholders, members and supporters for their prayers, encouragement and unwavering supports., describing their solidarity as a great source of strength and motivation.
Garo said, “This nomination is not merely a personal honour, but a call to greater responsibility and selfless service to our people.”
He appealed to party faithful, particularly those who aspired for the position but were not nominated , to embrace unity and work together in the spirit of brotherhood and the success of the APC.
He added, “I wish to specially appeal to all our party faithful, including those who aspired for this position, but we’re not nominated, to join hands with we in unity and brotherhood. Together, we must work for the success of our great party, the APC, and the continued development and progress of Kano State under the leadership of His Excellency, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf.”
He reaffirmed commitment to loyalty, cooperation and dedicated to service, pledging to deploy his experience and energy to support the governor in delivering on his mandate to the good people of Kano State.
