A new youth empowerment movement aimed at transforming the lives of young people across Sokoto State has been launched under the RISE × A+ AROMAS Youth Empowerment Initiative.
The programme, which organisers described as one of the most inspiring youth-focused initiatives in recent times, is being implemented in collaboration with Alhaji Umaru Aliyu Kwabo, popularly known as the Jarman Sokoto.
According to a statement issued by the organisers, the initiative was established out of a strong belief that the future of society depends largely on empowering young people through opportunities, mentorship, practical skills and knowledge capable of changing lives and strengthening communities.

The statement noted that the initiative seeks to provide hope and direction for youths at a time when many are searching for support, economic opportunities and personal development.
Organisers also described Alhaji Umaru Aliyu Kwabo as a respected leader known for humility, compassion, influence and commitment to the development and progress of the people.
They added that the empowerment programme is expected to positively impact thousands of youths across Sokoto State by equipping them with tools for self-reliance and productive engagement.
The organisers further reiterated their commitment to supporting youth development initiatives capable of promoting sustainable growth, social stability and economic advancement within communities.
