Renewed Hope: Dingyadi, Dan Agundi Empower Youths with Motorcycles, Food Items

The Federal Government has distributed 350 motorcycles for dispatch riders and food items to 10,000 youths under the Renewed Hope empowerment initiative.

The initiative was jointly launched in Kano by the Minister of Labour and Employment, Dr. Muhammad Maigari Dingyadi, and the Director General of the National Productivity Centre (NPC), Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi.

Speaking at the event, Dr. Dingyadi commended Dr. Dan Agundi for what he described as visionary and exemplary leadership, stressing that the programme reflects the people-centered policies of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope agenda.

“The impact of these interventions goes beyond economic support. They are fostering inclusiveness, creating opportunities, and building a stronger foundation for national development,” the minister said.

Dr. Dan Agundi explained that the empowerment programme — now in its fourth phase — was part of promises made during the last electioneering campaign to establish small-scale industries and uplift the welfare of youths across the country.

He reaffirmed his commitment to sustaining monthly empowerment initiatives, adding that the scheme is particularly targeted at members of Tinubu Support Groups (TSG) in the North West region.

The event, which drew dignitaries and stakeholders from Kano, neighbouring states, and Abuja, featured the distribution of 350 motorcycles to dispatch riders and food packages to 10,000 beneficiaries.

Dan Agundi stressed that the gesture demonstrates the administration’s resolve to deliver tangible benefits to citizens and deepen grassroots support for the APC.
