2027: Ganduje visits Yari in Abuja, discusses strategies for APC victory

Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairman of the Governing Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has met with Senator Abdulaziz Yari, Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council for the 2027 elections.

Ganduje visited Yari at his residence in Abuja on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, as part of consultations ahead of the 2027 general elections.

The meeting focused on strategies for approaching the forthcoming elections and strengthening the APC’s campaign efforts towards securing victory for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and other APC candidates.

Ganduje is also Chairman of the Committee for the Mobilisation of APC Elders for the Presidential Campaign in support of President Tinubu’s bid for a second term.

The meeting between the two senior APC figures comes as the party begins preparations to mobilise its structures and stakeholders across the country ahead of the 2027 elections.

Yari, a former Governor of Zamfara State, was recently appointed Director-General of the APC Presidential Campaign Council, while Ganduje was appointed Director of Stakeholders’ Mobilisation in the campaign structure.

The engagement between the two leaders is expected to contribute to ongoing consultations and coordination among key stakeholders as the APC works towards its 2027 electoral objectives.

The meeting concluded with prayers for the success of the APC and victory for President Tinubu and other party candidates in the 2027 elections.
