FCT Minister of State Inspects Tungan Madaki–Zuba Road Project, Commends Tinubu, Wike

The Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, has inspected the ongoing construction of the access road linking Tungan Madaki to the Abuja–Kaduna Highway at Zuba, describing the project as another demonstration of the Federal Government’s commitment to expanding infrastructure and economic opportunities to underserved communities.

Speaking during the inspection, Dr. Mahmoud said the project aligns with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and the Federal Capital Territory Administration’s vision of promoting inclusive development across the nation’s capital.

She noted that upon completion, the road would significantly improve connectivity between Tungan Madaki, Zuba and neighbouring communities, while stimulating commercial activities, attracting investments and improving the quality of life of residents.

According to the minister, the project reflects the unwavering commitment of the FCT Administration to ensuring that no community is left behind in the ongoing transformation of the Federal Capital Territory.

Dr. Mahmoud expressed profound appreciation to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for providing the visionary leadership driving infrastructure development under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

She also commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Ezenwo Wike, for what she described as his bold, courageous and result-oriented leadership in accelerating infrastructural renewal across the FCT.

The minister reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to delivering critical infrastructure that promotes economic growth, enhances mobility and improves the living conditions of residents in communities across the Federal Capital Territory.
