Alhaji Audu Manager, a prominent Kano-based oil marketer and businessman, has passed away in Egypt after a prolonged illness.
A family source confirmed the development to newsmen on Wednesday, disclosing that the respected entrepreneur died while undergoing medical treatment in the North African country.
The late Audu Manager hailed from Kachako community in Takai Local Government Area of Kano State and was widely known for his contributions to the petroleum industry and the economic growth of the state.

Until his death, he served as Chairman of the Elders Committee of the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Kano Depot, and also chaired Audu Manager Filling Stations.
The family source described him as a distinguished businessman whose legacy in the oil and gas sector, as well as his commitment to enterprise development, would remain a reference point for generations.
His passing has drawn tributes from associates, colleagues, and members of the business community, many of whom remember him as a humble and influential figure in the petroleum marketing industry.
He is survived by his wives, children, grandchildren, and other family members.
The source further disclosed that funeral arrangements would be announced after the arrival of his remains from Egypt.
