Tinubu begins three-week vacation, heads to Europe

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has commenced a three-week vacation as part of his annual leave.

The President’s departure was disclosed in a statement issued on Sunday by his Special Adviser on Information and Strategy, Bayo Onanuga.

According to the statement, Tinubu departed Abuja on Sunday for Europe, with London, United Kingdom, as his first destination.

The statement described the trip as part of the President’s annual vacation, during which he is expected to undertake a working vacation.

Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria at the end of the three-week break and resume his official engagements, including preparations for the 2027 general elections.

The President is expected to join the campaign activities ahead of the January 2027 elections upon his return.
