According to the governor, the Emir’s transition from the nation’s apex court to the traditional throne of Lafia reflects a rare combination of judicial excellence and exemplary leadership.

“Your Royal Highness has remained a symbol of justice, fairness, unity and selfless service both on the bench and on the throne,” Governor Yusuf stated.

He noted that the Emir’s contributions to nation-building, community development and institutional growth have positively impacted countless lives and strengthened public confidence in leadership.

The governor added that the milestone serves as a reminder that true greatness is measured by the positive influence one has on society rather than the positions one occupies.

“As we celebrate this important milestone, we are reminded that true greatness lies not in the positions one occupies but in the positive difference one makes in the lives of others,” he said.

Governor Yusuf prayed to Almighty Allah (SWT) to grant the Emir of Lafia continued good health, wisdom, peace and many more years of fruitful service to his people and the nation.

The Kano State governor joined family members, traditional rulers, associates and well-wishers across the country in congratulating the Emir on attaining the age of 70 and celebrating a lifetime of distinguished service to Nigeria.
