The Sun Confers Lifetime Achievement Award on Ganduje

Former National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and two-term Governor of Kano State, Dr Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, has received a Lifetime Achievement Award from The Sun Newspapers in recognition of his contributions to governance and development.

The award was presented to Ganduje at his residence by the Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of The Sun Publishing Limited, Mr Onuoha Ukeh.

Ukeh said the recognition followed Ganduje’s earlier honour as The Sun Governor of the Year during his tenure as Kano State Governor.

He said the Lifetime Achievement Award was presented in recognition of Ganduje’s contributions to governance, particularly in the areas of infrastructure development, urban renewal and the beautification of Kano.

According to him, the award was approved by the Board of Editors of The Sun Newspapers.

Receiving the award, Ganduje thanked The Sun Newspapers for the honour and expressed appreciation to Almighty Allah for granting him the opportunity to continue contributing to society.

He described the recognition as an honour and a reminder of the importance of continued service to the people.
