In what appears to be an early signal of political mobilisation ahead of the 2027 general elections, Abbas Uba Saraki Kachako has purchased an interest form to contest for the House of Representatives seat representing Takai/Sumaila Federal Constituency.
Kachako, a frontline aspirant, is the first from the constituency to take the step, setting the tone for what is expected to be a keenly contested race in the coming months.
The development has begun to attract attention across the constituency, where political activities are gradually gaining momentum as stakeholders and aspirants position themselves ahead of the polls.
The early move reflects growing confidence and readiness to engage the electorate, particularly at a time when discussions around representation, development, and grassroots impact are becoming more pronounced within the constituency.
