Mariya Bunkure Hails Abuja City Walk Launch, Says FCT Attracting More Private Investment

Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, has described the launch of the Sales and Experience Centre for the Abuja City Walk Development as another milestone in the Federal Capital Territory’s drive to attract private investment and promote sustainable urban development.

Dr. Mahmoud made the remarks after attending the launch of the Sales and Experience Centre for the Abuja City Walk Development in Abuja.

She said the project reflects the growing confidence of private investors in the Federal Capital Territory, attributing the development to the ongoing reforms and infrastructure transformation being implemented under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.

According to the minister, the administration’s commitment to improving infrastructure and creating an enabling environment for businesses has continued to position Abuja as a preferred destination for strategic investments.

Dr. Mahmoud also commended the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Barrister Nyesom Wike, CON, for what she described as his purposeful and result-oriented leadership in driving infrastructure development and enhancing the investment climate in the nation’s capital.

She further praised the promoters and developers of the Abuja City Walk Development for their vision and commitment to delivering a world-class mixed-use project designed to promote commerce, tourism, leisure and modern urban living.

The minister expressed optimism that the project would contribute significantly to economic growth, create employment opportunities and reinforce Abuja’s status as a leading destination for investment and sustainable development in Nigeria.
