
The Governor of Kano State, Alhaji Abba Kabir Yusuf, has sworn in Barr. Abdulkarim Kabir Maude as the new Commissioner of Justice and Attorney-General of the state.
Similarly, the governor sworn in Dr. Aliyu Isa Aliyu as Commissioner in the newly created Ministry of Livestock Development.
In the same ceremony, Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf also inaugurated Barr. Salisu Muhammad Tahir as the new Solicitor-General and Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Justice.

Speaking during the 32nd State Executive Council meeting where the swearing-in took place, Governor Yusuf urged the new appointees to uphold honesty, integrity, and accountability in the discharge of their duties.

He explained that their appointments were based on merit, taking into account their experience, expertise, and contributions to the people of Kano in various fields.
The governor congratulated the new commissioners and expressed confidence that they would contribute meaningfully to the development and progress of the state.
