The National Progressive Serving Councillors Forum has congratulated former Zamfara State Governor, Senator Abdulaziz Yari Abubakar, and former Kano State Governor and immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on their appointments to the party’s 2027 Presidential Campaign Council.
Yari was appointed Director-General of the 2027 Presidential Campaign Council, while Ganduje was appointed Director of Stakeholders’ Mobilisation.
The forum described the appointments as strategic, saying they reflected the confidence placed in the two APC leaders by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the party.
In a statement issued on Sunday and signed by its National Chairman, Hon. Muslihu Yusuf Ali, the forum congratulated Yari, describing his political experience, grassroots mobilisation capacity and ability to build bridges across political divides as assets that would contribute to the campaign.
