Ganduje receives Tijjaniyya leaders in Abuja

Former Kano State Governor, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, Khadimul Islam, on Sunday evening received a delegation of leaders of the Tijjaniyya Islamic Movement at his residence in Abuja.
The delegation was led by Maulana Khalifa Sheikh Ibrahim Sheikh Dahiru Usman Bauchi, alongside Sheikh Muhammad Cisse, Secretary of the Tijjani Supreme Council, and Alkali Zainuddeen Muhammad Nasir.

The clerics paid a courtesy visit to the former governor and presented him with an invitation to attend the forthcoming Maulud of Maulana Sheikh Ahmad Tijjani.
The visit underscored the cordial relationship between Dr. Ganduje and prominent Islamic scholars, while reaffirming the significance of religious gatherings in promoting unity, spiritual growth and peaceful coexistence.
