A fresh legal dispute has emerged within a political party reportedly linked to the possible return of key opposition figures, including Rabi’u Musa Kwankwaso, ahead of the 2027 general elections.
The party, Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), which is said to be associated with the leadership of Seriake Dickson, is facing mounting challenges over allegations of irregularities in its registration and internal processes.
An advocacy group, All Democratic Alliance (ADA), has already raised objections, accusing the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) of failing to adhere to due process in the registration and recognition of political parties.
