Ganduje-Led APC Stakeholders Back Yusuf for 2027, Spark Political Debate in Kano

Some stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress in Kano State have reportedly expressed support for Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf ahead of the 2027 governorship election, a development already sparking political debate across the state.

The position was said to have emerged during a stakeholders’ meeting, where participants emphasised the need for unity and strategic alignment as political activities gradually build toward the next general elections.

The immediate past National Chairman of the APC and Chairperson of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, was quoted as describing the reported support for Governor Yusuf as a reflection of political pragmatism and a desire to consolidate governance outcomes in the state.
