The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Administration has commenced the construction of a strategic access road linking Bill Clinton Drive to Tunga Madaki Settlement, complete with a four-span bridge.
The Minister of State for the FCT, Dr. Mariya Mahmoud Bunkure, disclosed this on Monday, noting that the project was officially flagged off by the FCT Minister, Barrister Nyesom Wike, alongside senior officials of the administration and well-wishers.

According to her, the project will provide an alternative access route that bypasses the airport’s second runway, significantly easing traffic along Bill Clinton Drive while enhancing security and convenience for airport users.
Dr. Mahmoud added that the initiative will also open up Tunga Madaki and adjoining settlements to new socio-economic opportunities.
“The inclusion of a four-span bridge demonstrates the administration’s determination to ensure resilience and durability in our infrastructure, while also guaranteeing seamless connectivity for motorists and residents,” she stated.
