Funeral Prayer in Absentia Held in Kano for Late Business Icon Aminu Dantata

A funeral prayer in absentia was held in Kano on Saturday for the late Nigerian business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Dantata.

The prayer, conducted at the Umar bin Khattab Mosque along Zaria Road in Gyadi-Gyadi, was led by the Chairman of the Kano Council of Ulama, Sheikh Ibrahim Khalil, alongside the Commandant General of the Kano Hisbah Board, Sheikh Ibrahim Daurawa.

The solemn gathering drew dignitaries from across the country, including the Deputy President of the Senate, Senator Barau I. Jibrin, members of the Kano State Executive Council, and prominent figures from the business community.

Reports indicate that the late Dantata passed away in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates and, in accordance with his will, will be laid to rest in the holy city of Madina.
