Kano Online Media Chapel Invites Digital Journalists to Join as Membership Drive Begins

The Kano State Online Media Chapel has commenced the sale of membership forms as part of efforts to strengthen its ranks and unify journalists working in the digital and online media space across the state.

According to a statement issued by the Chapel’s Financial Secretary, Comrade Kabiru Basiru Fulatan, the membership form is available for a fee of N5,000 only.

Interested applicants are advised to visit the NUJ Secretariat at Farm Centre, Kano, and contact the Chapel Secretary, Isiyaku Ahmed, between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM daily to obtain their forms.

The Chapel emphasized the importance of consolidating professional solidarity among digital media practitioners, urging all qualified journalists to take advantage of the opportunity to join the association.

“We encourage all practicing journalists and online media professionals to become part of a vibrant and forward-looking association committed to promoting professionalism, ethics, and unity within the online media industry,” the statement added.

The membership drive marks a strategic effort by the Kano State Online Media Chapel to formalize the presence of digital media practitioners within the structure of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), ensuring their voices are better represented in industry affairs.
