KASPA DG seeks collective support for social protection of Kano’s vulnerable
The Director-General of the Kano State Social Protection Agency (KASPA), Haj. Fatima Abubakar Abdullahi (Amneef), has called for collective support for the welfare of poor and vulnerable residents across the state.
She also urged Nigerians to uphold national unity, patriotism and collective responsibility as the country marks its 66th Independence Anniversary.
This was contained in a goodwill message issued to mark the anniversary and signed by Rabiu Ibrahim Khalil, Director of Public Enlightenment, Kano State Social Protection Agency.
Abdullahi congratulated Nigerians, particularly the people of Kano State, describing the anniversary as an opportunity to reflect on the nation’s journey, celebrate its rich cultural identity and renew commitment to building a more inclusive, peaceful and prosperous Nigeria.

She said this year’s theme, “A Celebration of Identity, Culture, and Possibility,” aptly captures Nigeria’s diversity, heritage and enormous potential.
According to her, the country’s greatest strength lies in its ability to harness its diversity for collective progress.
The KASPA DG said national development must go beyond economic growth by expanding opportunities and ensuring that disadvantaged Nigerians are not left behind.
She urged citizens to support the administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf in its efforts to strengthen welfare programmes and improve living conditions for vulnerable households across Kano State.
