TPI Celebrates APC Chairman Yilwatda at 58, Plans Birthday Symposium
The Progressive Institute (TPI), Abuja, has congratulated the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Professor Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, on his 58th birthday anniversary.
This was contained in a statement signed by Olawale Abideen, Head, Media and Communication Strategy, TPI, on Friday, August 7, 2026.
Yilwatda, who also serves as Chairman of the Governing Council of TPI, was described as instrumental to the development witnessed by the APC and the institute in recent times.
The Director-General of the APC Think Tank, Dr Lanre Adebayo, described Yilwatda as a committed party leader whose leadership, he said, had continued to accelerate the growth and widespread acceptance of the APC at various levels.

Adebayo commended the APC National Chairman’s courage, noting that his academic and political experience had contributed to introducing innovations into the activities of the party and its think tank.
The TPI Director-General further described Yilwatda as a loyal, humble, focused, passionate and hardworking party leader whose tenure would usher in greater progress for the APC and Nigeria.
“The TPI is confident that the National Chairman would continue to deploy his academic and political experiences in the service of the party and the nation,” Adebayo said.
He added that TPI would organise a symposium to celebrate the birthday of its Governing Council Chairman.
According to him, Yilwatda’s support towards achieving the goals and objectives of the APC and the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu deserves to be celebrated.
