CDCFIB Secretary commends transparent NSCDC recruitment screening in Kano
The Secretary of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB), Major General Abdulmalik Jibrin (Rtd.), has commended the orderly, transparent and professional conduct of the ongoing 2024/2025 recruitment physical screening exercise at the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano State Command.
Major General Jibrin gave the commendation during an oversight visit to the screening centre at the NSCDC Kano State Command Headquarters in Kano.
He expressed satisfaction with the smooth and hitch-free conduct of the exercise, describing the screening process as transparent, well-coordinated and professionally managed.

The Board Secretary also praised the discipline, commitment and professionalism demonstrated by officers and personnel of the NSCDC Kano State Command in ensuring a seamless screening exercise.
He further appreciated the warm reception accorded to him and members of his delegation by the Kano State Command, noting that effective coordination is essential to maintaining the integrity and credibility of the recruitment process.
Major General Jibrin was accompanied on the oversight visit by the Kano State heads of the Nigerian Correctional Service, the Nigeria Immigration Service and the Federal Fire Service.
The ongoing recruitment screening forms part of the Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, credible and merit-based recruitment process across its agencies nationwide.
