Women Lawyers Congress Condoles Zaura Family Over Patriarch’s Passing

The Women Lawyers Congress (WLC) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of Alhaji Abdulkarim Saleh Zaura, father of Abdussalam Abdulkarim Zaura.

In a statement issued by its National Chairperson, Nafisa Abba Ismail, the Congress described the late patriarch as a respected elder whose remarkable lifespan of 108 years was defined by wisdom, patience, and meaningful contributions to both family and society.

The WLC noted that his death, which occurred on Sunday after a prolonged illness, represents a significant loss not only to his immediate family but also to the broader community that benefitted from his guidance and life experience.

“We extend our heartfelt condolences to Abdussalam Abdulkarim Zaura and the entire Zaura family during this difficult time. We pray that Almighty Allah grants the deceased Aljannatul Firdaus and gives the family the strength to bear this irreparable loss,” the statement read.

The Congress further urged the bereaved family and loved ones to find comfort in the exemplary life lived by the deceased and the enduring legacy of dignity, integrity, and service he left behind.
