
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has signed into law four landmark tax reform bills aimed at unifying Nigeria’s fragmented tax system and enhancing transparency in the country’s fiscal policy framework.
The newly enacted laws are designed to eliminate duplication, simplify tax administration, boost investor confidence, and create a fairer and more transparent tax environment.

The signing ceremony took place on Thursday at the Presidential Villa in Abuja, where President Tinubu described the development as a bold and foundational shift in Nigeria’s fiscal policy direction.
The laws signed include the Nigeria Tax Bill (Fair Taxation), the Nigeria Tax Administration Bill, the Nigeria Revenue Service (Establishment) Bill, and the Joint Revenue Board (Establishment) Bill.
