Kano loses APC chieftain Hamza Darma at 76
A prominent member of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, Alhaji Hamza Usman Darma, has died at the age of 76.
Hamza Darma reportedly died on Friday after a brief illness.
His funeral prayer was held at his residence in Hotoro, near Maryam Abacha American University of Nigeria (MAAUN), Kano, on Friday.

The deceased was described as a prominent figure within the Kano APC, with his death expected to be mourned by members of the party, associates and the wider community.
He is survived by his family and other relatives.
