Kano State Schools to Resume June 15 and 16 After Eid-El-Kabeer Break

The Kano State Ministry of Education has announced that all boarding public and private primary and post-primary schools in the state will resume on Sunday, June 15, 2025, following the Eid-El-Kabeer break.

According to a statement signed by the Director of Public Enlightenment, Balarabe Abdullahi Kiru, pupils and students in day schools are to resume on Monday, June 16, 2025.

The Ministry urged parents and guardians to take note of the resumption dates and ensure full compliance, warning that appropriate disciplinary action will be taken against students and pupils who fail to resume on time.

The statement also quoted the Commissioner for Education, Dr. Ali Haruna Makoda, as wishing teachers, students, and pupils a successful completion of the third term academic session. He emphasized the Ministry’s commitment to ongoing routine monitoring to ensure punctuality and efficiency among staff.
