Tinubu hails Abba Bichi at 45, commends legislative role

President Bola Tinubu has congratulated the Chairman of the House of Representatives Committee on Appropriations, Abubakar Kabir Bichi, on his 45th birthday, praising his legislative role and constituency interventions.

This was contained in a statement signed by Bayo Onanuga, Special Adviser to the President on Information and Strategy.

Tinubu commended Bichi’s leadership of the Appropriations Committee, noting its role in scrutinising and processing the nation’s annual budget and supporting the implementation of the Renewed Hope Agenda.

He also praised the lawmaker’s representation of Bichi Federal Constituency in Kano State and his reported interventions in education, infrastructure and youth empowerment.

The President noted that Bichi, first elected in 2019, chaired the House Committee on Works in the Ninth Assembly before becoming chairman of the Appropriations Committee in the 10th Assembly.

Tinubu urged the lawmaker to remain committed to serving his constituents and the country, while praying for his continued good health, wisdom and strength.
