
President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Monday held a closed-door meeting with six governors elected on the platform of the All Progressives Congress (APC) at the Presidential Villa, Abuja.
The agenda of the meeting was not disclosed as of the time of filing this report, and the governors declined to speak with journalists after the discussion. Those in attendance included Governors Umar Namadi of Jigawa, Monday Okpebholo of Edo, Biodun Oyebanji of Ekiti, Usman Ododo of Kogi, Aliyu Sokoto of Sokoto, and Dr. Nasir Idris of Kebbi State.

Although no official statement has been issued, the meeting comes at a time when the nation is grappling with mounting security challenges. It also coincides with ongoing political consultations and preparations ahead of major party and governance activities.
