The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) has released former Sokoto State Governor and serving Senator, Aminu Waziri Tambuwal.
Tambuwal was reportedly freed on Tuesday evening after hours of questioning at the commission’s headquarters in Abuja.

Although the EFCC has yet to officially disclose details of the interrogation, sources said it was connected to investigations into alleged financial mismanagement during his tenure as governor.
