Tinubu Congratulates Ganduje at 76, Hails Decades of Public Service

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the immediate past National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) and Chairperson of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, on his 76th birthday, marked on December 25.

In a congratulatory message, President Tinubu described Dr. Ganduje as an astute politician and accomplished administrator who has devoted over five decades to public service and national development.

The President recalled Ganduje’s long career in governance, noting that he served as a senior administrator in the Federal Capital Territory before returning to Kano State to serve as Commissioner for Works during the military era. He later became a two-term Deputy Governor of Kano State and was subsequently elected Governor for two consecutive terms.

President Tinubu also acknowledged Ganduje’s contributions to party politics and national administration, including his tenure as National Chairman of the APC and his current role as Chairperson of the FAAN Board.

“I will forever appreciate Ganduje’s friendship, close collaboration at different times, and his services to the APC,” the President said.

He prayed Almighty Allah to grant Dr. Ganduje good health and long life, enabling him to continue serving Nigeria and humanity.
