
Stakeholders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Bagwai and Shanono Local Government Areas of Kano State have reaffirmed their loyalty to the immediate past National Chairman of the party and Chairperson of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, CON, and endorsed President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 general elections.
This position was announced during a solidarity visit to Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar, Member representing Bichi Federal Constituency and Chairman of the House Committee on Appropriation, at the National Assembly.
The delegation, led by Hon. Yusuf Badau, Member representing Bagwai/Shanono Federal Constituency, comprised APC executives, elders, caucus members, and former councillors from both local government areas.
During the visit, the stakeholders rejected any early endorsement of a governorship candidate for the 2027 election, stressing that they would abide by whatever decision the party takes under the leadership of Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

They commended Hon. Abubakar Kabir Abubakar for what they described as impactful representation, noting that his contributions continue to deliver meaningful dividends of democracy to the people of Bichi Federal Constituency, Kano State, and the nation at large.
Prominent political figures present at the meeting included Senator Abdulrahman Kawu Sumaila (Kano South), Rep. Alhassan Ado Doguwa, Rep. Abdulmumin Jibrin, Rep. Sani Bala Tsanyawa, Rep. Kabiru Alhassan Rurum, Rep. Sagir Koki, Rep. Hamisu Cidari, Rep. Abdullahi Sani Rogo, former APC governorship candidate Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, Director-General of the National Productivity Centre, Dr. Baffa Babba Dan Agundi, former ALGON Chairman Hon. Baffa Takai, SA to Senate President Barau Jibrin, Yusuf Ali Tumfafi, and Hon. Yahaya Garin Ali, among others.
