Operatives of the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Kano Command, have arrested six suspects for allegedly vandalising and stealing electricity equipment at Hayin Da’e, Hotoro, in Tarauni Local Government Area.
This was conveyed in a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SC Ibrahim Idris Abdullahi, on behalf of the State Commandant, Shafi’u Abdulmumini.
The arrest followed credible intelligence provided by members of the local vigilante group in the area. The suspects were apprehended with transformer cables believed to have been removed from a transformer in the community at midnight.
