The Kano State Government is set to inaugurate its newly reconstituted Shuurah Council on Monday, September 8, 2025. The ceremony will take place at the Government House, Kano, under the leadership of Governor Abba Kabiru Yusuf.
The Shuurah Council is an advisory body that will provide informed guidance on policies and programs aimed at driving the state’s transformation agenda and promoting sustainable development. The council comprises highly respected personalities representing critical stakeholder constituencies, ensuring balanced representation across all social strata of the Kano community.
