Kano Police Host Salimat School Students, Promote Civic Responsibility and Law Awareness

The Kano State Police Command on Wednesday hosted students from Salimat Primary and Secondary School, Sharada, as part of an educational excursion designed to promote community engagement and instill civic values among young Nigerians.

This was contained in a statement signed by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, and made available to ‘The Historica Nigeria‘.

According to the statement, the students were received at the Bompai Police Headquarters by Deputy Commissioner of Police, Department of Operations, DCP Lawal Mani, who represented the Commissioner of Police, CP Ibrahim Adamu Bakori. He encouraged the students to stay away from crime and become good ambassadors of their school and community.

The students toured key departments within the Command, including the Criminal Investigation Department (CID), where they were addressed by the head of the unit, DCP Abubakar Abdullahi Shika. He spoke on the importance of discipline and the vital role the police play in maintaining peace and order.
