A prominent member of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Kano State, Ibrahim Ali Amin, popularly known as Little, has resigned from the party, citing ongoing leadership crises and erosion of internal democracy.
In a resignation letter addressed to the Tudun Wada Ward Chairman in Nassarawa Local Government Area, Amin stated that his decision is effective immediately, expressing disappointment over the party’s internal instability and failure to uphold its founding principles.

“The unending leadership tussles have destroyed the internal cohesion needed for progress,” he said. He also lamented the lack of respect for internal democracy, saying the party no longer reflects its original ideals.
Amin revealed he is now aligning with a new coalition movement focused on rebuilding Nigeria and restoring democratic values.
“I have conscientiously decided to join a coalition movement committed to saving our country and promoting genuine democratic governance,” he reiterated.
