Ganduje Resurfaces in Public Role as Chairman of FAAN Board After APC Resignation

A former Governor of Kano State, Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, has resumed public attention in his capacity as Chairman of the Board of the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), just days after resigning as National Chairman of the All-Progressives Congress (APC).

Ganduje, who was appointed to the FAAN position earlier this year, made an appearance during the formal inauguration of newly constituted FAAN board members in Abuja.

His resignation from the leadership of the ruling party last week had stirred reactions across the country, with many viewing his reemergence in an official capacity as a signal of his continued relevance in national affairs.

Ganduje had stepped down as APC Chairman citing urgent and personal matters. His role at FAAN is expected to keep him within the orbit of public service and federal infrastructure oversight.
