The Kano Online Media Chapel has congratulated three prominent figures on receiving Awards of Honour from the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), Kano State Council.
The awardees are Commissioner for Information and Internal Affairs, Comrade Ibrahim Abdullahi Waiya; Director-General, Media and Communications to the Kano State Governor, Sunusi Bature Dawakin Tofa; and former Commissioner for Information, Baba Halilu Dan Tiye.
In a statement, Chapel Chairman Abubakar Abdulkadir Dangambo praised the recipients for their contributions to information management, media development, and support for journalism practice in Kano State.
