NYSC Extends 2025 Batch ‘C’ Registration Over Network Issues

The National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) has extended the online registration for the 2025 Batch ‘C’ mobilization by 48 hours, setting a new deadline for midnight of Tuesday, November 11, 2025.

According to the management, the extension became necessary due to persistent network challenges experienced by some Prospective Corps Members (PCMs) during the registration process.

In a statement issued by Caroline Embu, Director of Information and Public Relations, NYSC expressed regret over the inconvenience caused and assured that efforts were being made to resolve the issues promptly.

“While Management regrets the inconvenience this might have caused our valued PCMs, we wish to assure all that we are working round the clock to ensure a seamless registration process,” the statement read.

NYSC also appreciated the patience and understanding of prospective corps members, urging them to take advantage of the extended registration window.

“In view of this regrettable development, Management has extended the registration period by 48 hours till midnight of Tuesday, 11 November 2025, to enable our enthusiastic PCMs to conclude their registration,” Embu added.

Meanwhile, several prospective corps members have expressed frustration over difficulties accessing the portal. One applicant, Yusuf Abubakar Umar, wrote on Facebook, “I’ve been trying to register since 4 a.m., but like many others, I haven’t received any confirmation email.”

The NYSC had earlier announced that registration for Batch ‘C’ would begin on November 4 and close on November 9, 2025, before the extension was announced.
