The All Progressives Congress (APC) has unveiled Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodimma, as Chairman, and Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, as Secretary of the party’s National Convention Central Coordination Committee, as preparations intensify for its forthcoming national convention scheduled for March 27 and 28.
The APC National Secretary, Ajibola Basiru, disclosed this in a statement on Monday, announcing that the Governor of Kwara State and Chairman of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq, will serve as Vice Chairman of the 73-member committee for the party’s 2026 National Convention.
Basiru recalled that the party had earlier released a comprehensive timetable for its 2025/2026 ward, local government, state, and zonal congresses across the country, which will culminate in the national convention where new members of the National Working Committee are expected to emerge.
