President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has returned to Nigeria after concluding a state visit to the Republic of Türkiye.
The President arrived at the Presidential Wing of the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja, at exactly 8:55 p.m. on Saturday aboard an Airbus A330 aircraft.
The Presidency confirmed his arrival in a brief statement issued to State House correspondents on Saturday evening.
President Tinubu’s visit to Türkiye, which commenced on Tuesday, featured high-level bilateral engagements with Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan. The visit culminated in the signing of nine bilateral agreements spanning defence cooperation, energy development, security collaboration, research, and other strategic sectors.

Both leaders also held extensive discussions on shared priorities aimed at deepening diplomatic, economic, and security cooperation between Nigeria and Türkiye, in line with their mutual interests.
Members of the Nigerian delegation included the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Yusuf Maitama Tuggar; the Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Lateef Fagbemi; the Minister of Defence, General Christopher Musa (retd.); and the National Security Adviser, Nuhu Ribadu.
