KASSOSA Mourns Business Icon Aminu Dantata, Describes His Death as a Great Loss

The Kano Science Schools Old Students Association (KASSOSA) has expressed deep sorrow over the passing of elder statesman and renowned business mogul, Alhaji Aminu Alhassan Dantata, who died at the age of 94.

In a condolence statement signed by the President of the association’s national body, Alhaji Balarabe Nuhu Jalla Danbatta, KASSOSA described the late Dantata as a towering figure whose contributions to commerce, philanthropy, and national development were immeasurable.

The statement emphasized that Alhaji Aminu Dantata’s life and legacy left a lasting impact across multiple sectors and that his influence extended to the association in many positive ways.

“His support, values, and exemplary life served as an inspiration to generations. His legacy touches the very spirit of KASSOSA and we are grateful for the path he helped shape,” the statement read.

KASSOSA also acknowledged and appreciated the role played by one of the late elder statesman’s family members, Alhaji Abdulkadir Dantata, who is a dedicated and contributing member of the association.

The association extended its heartfelt condolences to the Dantata family, the Kano Emirate Council, and the entire Nigerian people, praying for Allah’s mercy and eternal rest for the departed.

“May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, grant him Aljannatul Firdaus, and give the family and the nation the strength to bear this loss,” the statement reiterated.
